Partner account login

Understand how the Sensolus platform separates customer data and allows to manage multiple customer environments.

Note: Information in this section of the user guide is only relevant to Sensolus partners.

Partners accounts and organizations

All data stored and processed by the Sensolus platform is stored within the logical scope of a specific organization. Organisations are fully isolated from each other. Users within an organization can never access data outside their own scope, in order to provide the necessary security and data privacy. Regular user accounts always exist within a specific organization, and can never access data of other organizations.

In order to allow Sensolus partners to efficiently manage multiple organizations, the platform offers several partner account functionalities. Customer organizations are linked to a partner account (one customer organization can only be linked to exactly one partner account). Partner account can have multiple associated customer organizations.

Users that are created within a partner account, are able to perform several administrative tasks than regular organization cannot do (if the relevant permissions are granted), such as:

  • View asset information spanning multiple associated organizations in one view.
  • Create new organizations.
  • Impersonate users (to perform support and service taks only).

Partner account: organization selection

When logged in into a partner organization, the organisation navigation selector appears in the upper-left corner of the user interface. Using this switch, the user interface can be toggled between two modes:

  • All organizations scope: In this mode, it is possible to view data from multiple organizations in one view. For example, it is possible to search and filter in the list of assets of all organizations that are associated with this partner account.
  • Selected organization scope: When a single organization is selected, the scope of all views is restricted to the selected organization.

Depending on the selected scope, certain functionalities are available, and others are not. This is explained in each applicable section of the user guide.
