Connected to external power supply

infrastructure devices powered by external power

Some infrastructure devices are powered by an external power supply. Although they most often also have a back-up battery, they are constructed to be powered via a power plug or via the battery of a vehicle.

It is valuable to create an alert on these devices to get a notification when the device is unplugged from the external power supply.

When an alert is raised a notification will be sent. When you receive such a notification, it is best to as fast as possible plug the infrastructure device again in the power supply.

This function is especially important when using the TRACK 1210 vehicle tracker or the ZA 3510 scanning device.

Of course it is always a good idea to send an email notification when an alert is raised. You can configure this when creating the alert.
