Geozone reports

What reports with geozone information can be generated?

Different reports can be exported with information specific to geozones. Go to Home → Reports → Create report to download geozone reports.

Geozone visits reports

Each row of the report is a geozone visits. This information is similar to the geozone list view of a selected asset (Geozone visits of an asset), however with the report you can create this for multiple assets, for an entire geozone or even for a multiple geozones. The columns include the following information:

  • Tracker serial and product type.
  • Geozone name, geozone ID and geozone tags.
  • Entry time, exit time: the time the asset entered the geozone and left the geozone.
  • Entry time exact/exit time exact: As you have to select a time window when creating a report it is also possible that the entry time or exit time is not in the selected time window. To clarify this we added these columns. If an entry or exit is not within the selected time period it is defined as FALSE. This means that the geozone visit is longer then defined in the report.
  • Duration selected time window/duration: the duration of the geozone visit. When the column 'duration' is filled in this means the full geozone visit falls within the selected time window. If only the duration selected time window is filled-in it means the entry or exit time is not within the selected time window.
Notice: Geozone visits reports do not use live data, but use data stored in the database. This means the data must already be available in the database before it can be shown in the report. When you just created a new geozone and try to download the geovisit report, this geozone will not be part of the geozone visit report. The reason for this is it will only start to take this new geozone into account from the moment it was created.

Geozone transitions report

Each row of the report is a geozone visits. This report is similar to the geozone visits report, however it also includes the previous and next geozone for each geozone visit (if available). This is useful to analyze the flow of your assets between geozones.

Geozone inventory report

Each row of the report is a geozone. For each geozone the count of assets that are in that geozone on the moment the report is created are mentioned. The columns include the following information:

  • Geozone name, thirdparty ID and geozone tags
  • Count of assets inside the geozone
  • The address of the geozone
Note: If an asset is in two geozones at the same time (for example, if you created a geozone on city and country level) then it will increment the count in each of these two geozones. So the total sum of asset counts in the report will often be higher than total number of assets in the organization.
