Network localization

Insights on how Sensolus trackers use network base stations information for localization.

Network localization is a technique that uses the coordinates of existing base stations to get location information. The Sensolus tracker sends message using wireless signal and is received by base stations. Generally the locations of these base stations are known and therefore they can be used as way of getting a rough estimation of the trackers location. Depending on the wireless technology the method of finding the location is slightly different. The following network localization options can be used (availability depends on the tracker model):
